AGENDA – Introducing a 30-Minute Talk – “Building for Impact: The Secrets Behind Products People Love“ presented by John William Schmidt.
John William Schmidt is an innovative technology leader with over twenty years of experience in spearheading technology and product transformations across multiple industries. John recently led bold innovation agendas in cloud computing, data transformation, and AI/ML as part of Capital One’s technology transformation. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles, including founder and co-founder, in several high-technology startups across various industries, including mobile/telecom, e-commerce, and fintech. He has guided numerous product innovation cohorts within Capital One, mentored and advised startups, and designed and delivered a course in Strategic Product Management as a lecturer at the University of Virginia. Beyond technical innovation, John has a passion for mentoring, coaching, and teaching.
