Volunteer Community Ambassadors Wanted
We are all about building a community of innovators, entrepreneurs, founders, government, and investors, with the tech entrepreneur at the center of it all. This can’t be done by one organization and its staff. We need your help to develop relationships and inspire participation. Do you desire to be a community builder and netweaver? If yes, pick the ambassador role that fits you.

Entrepreneur
Ambassadors
Do you believe in the power of entrepreneurs to transform communities? As a Community Ambassador for Founders, Innovators, and Entrepreneurs, you’ll help catalyze Tucson’s vibrant tech startup culture. Your mission is to engage local builders from solo tech creators to growing startup teams and connect them with Startup Zones’ pre-incubation programs, mentor networks, and community events. You’ll help host innovation meetups and serve as a connector for people who dream big.
Your qualification – You don’t need to be a startup veteran, just passionate about community building, curiosity, and learning. You’ll gain access to a vast network of like-minded entrepreneurs, mentors, and local leaders, and you’ll grow your influence in the startup ecosystem while supporting others. You’ll help create spaces where people test ideas, share struggles, and celebrate progress.
Your reward – You’ll become part of the same entrepreneurial community you’re helping to uplift, building trust, earning credibility, and becoming a familiar face among Tucson’s next wave of innovators.

Government
Ambassadors
Are you energized by bridging the public and private sectors to build a better future? As a Government, Economic, and Workforce Development Ambassador, you’ll cultivate relationships with government staff, economic developers, tribal councils, workforce development, and elected leaders to ensure Tucson startups are visible, supported, and engaged in the broader regional growth agenda. You’ll help inspire public leaders to participate in the development of a more vibrant and dynamic startup ecosystem.
Your qualification – A passion for community building and learning. You’ll represent a grassroots nonprofit working to make entrepreneurship more accessible. This role is ideal for connectors who understand the value of civic partnerships.
Your reward – You’ll build relationships with inspiring public leaders, forward-thinking agencies, and startup champions who are designing the next economy. You’ll help make entrepreneurship a public priority and gain insight into how policy shapes economic opportunity.

Investor
Ambassadors
Are you passionate about helping startups grow and bringing people together around bold ideas? As our Investor Ambassador, you’ll inspire angels, venture firms, family, and other ecosystem funders. You help host startup events that bring investors to meetups, founder pitch sessions, capital-readiness workshops, and curated introductions. You’ll help build investor trust and their engagement in the Tucson events.
Your qualification – A desire to learn and a love for community building. Whether you’re an aspiring investor, a founder, or someone who thrives on meaningful connections, this role places you at the heart of Tucson’s entrepreneurial capital scene.
Your reward – You’ll gain close access to investors and founders shaping the region’s next wave of innovation. You’ll deepen your understanding of how funding decisions are made and play a part in leveling the playing field for underrepresented entrepreneurs. The people you’ll bring together, capital partners, founders, and ecosystem builders, are the same people you’ll grow alongside as Tucson’s innovation economy matures.
